“Who?” I asked.

“The files don’t say,” Andrew said. “But Julian knows.”

Andrew turned his head to look at his cousin.

Julian shrank back in his chair, looking at the security guards behind him.

“I don’t know,” Julian stammered. “I swear, Victoria handled the lab contacts.”

“You’re lying, Julian,” Andrew said.

“I’m not!” Julian said, his voice rising in panic. “She didn’t trust me with the names. She said I talked too much.”

Andrew stared at him for a long moment, then looked at the security guards.

“Take him down to the holding room,” Andrew said. “Keep him there until the morning.”

“Andrew, please!” Julian shouted as the guards grabbed his arms. “We’re family!”

The guards escorted Julian out of the room, his leather shoes dragging slightly on the carpet.

The heavy glass door clicked shut, leaving the four of us in silence.

“What do we do now?” Koko asked, leaning against the wall. “We can’t just let them get away with this.”

“We can’t arrest Victoria yet,” Andrew said, his voice tight. “If we do, her partners will destroy the backup servers before we can secure them.”
