“Correct,” Keller replied. “The clinic in Geneva has been notified.”
“She is being moved to a private wing under the supervision of physicians appointed by the American embassy.”
Rachel pulled her hand back from Alexander, her wet eyes wide with terror.
“You can’t do that,” she gasped, her voice cracking. “That money was supposed to secure the estate.”
“That money belonged to our mother, Rachel,” I said, walking toward her.
“The mother you declared dead so you could sign away her rights.”
“She was sick, Emily!” Rachel cried, sitting up on the floor, her wedding dress pooling around her in crumpled silk.

Keller turned his attention to the King.
“We also have warrants for members of your household, Your Majesty,” the inspector said.
