“And the signature on the secondary authorization,” Daniel continued, “is a digital replica of Marcus’s.”
Marcus stood up, his chair scraping loudly against the hardwood floor.
“That is absolute garbage, Daniel,” Marcus yelled.
“I never signed off on those transfers, and you know it.”
“I know you didn’t, Marcus,” Daniel said smoothly, turning his gaze back to me.
“I believe you were set up.”

“She wanted to punish me, and she didn’t care if she destroyed the company to do it.”
The room went completely silent.
One of the older board members shifted in his seat, looking at me with disapproval.
“This is a serious allegation, Daniel,” the board member said.
“We have the digital logs,” Daniel said, tossing a thick folder onto the center of the table.

Robert reached for the folder, opening it slowly.
