Robert and I took our seats opposite Marcus.
“Thank you all for coming on short notice,” Daniel began, his voice steady.

He clicked a remote, and a spreadsheet appeared on the wall projector.
“Over four million dollars has been moved out of the escrow account over the last six months.”
Marcus frowned, leaning forward. “We saw the summary, Daniel. What does this have to do with an emergency meeting?”
“It has to do with the integrity of this company,” Daniel said, looking directly at me.

“Credentials that belong to someone who no longer works here, but still holds significant shares.”
