He stopped on a document that showed a ledger of wire transfers.
His eyes widened as he read the destination codes.
“Wait,” Luke said.
“Look at this bank routing number.”
He ran his finger down the page, tracing the path of the stolen money.
“This isn’t just a random offshore account.”
“The funds are being routed through a shell company registered in Delaware.”
He pulled another folder from the box.
This one contained a list of corporate officers for the Delaware shell company.
There was only one name listed.
Vivian Mercer.
“She did this,” Luke whispered.
“Vivian is draining the trusts.”
“And she’s using your name to cover the trail.”
I leaned against the wooden desk, feeling suddenly lightheaded.
“She wanted to destroy me,” I said.

“And if I went to prison, she would have total control.”
“It’s worse than that,” Marco said, looking toward the open door.
