“This is private property, Harrison,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady.

“I have every right as your husband,” Harrison said.
“Dr. Marren has signed the emergency evaluation order.”
“The order is invalid,” a sharp voice called out from the hallway.
Grace stepped through the broken door, her wet trench coat swinging as she pushed past the two guards.
She held a thick blue folder in her left hand, her fingers gripping the cardboard tightly.
“What are you doing here, Grace?” Harrison asked, his jaw tightening.
“This is a family matter.”
“It became a legal matter the moment you attempted to kidnap my client,” Grace said.
She opened the blue folder and pulled out a document stamped with a bright red seal.
“This is an active emergency injunction signed by Judge Vance twenty minutes ago,” Grace said.
