“He is in the transport vehicle outside your building right now,” the captain replied.

He set the phone on the polished mahogany table.
His hand was no longer trembling.
The glass doors of the boardroom rattled as a heavy gust of wind hit the building.
Down on the street, red and blue lights began to flash against the wet pavement.
The sirens grew louder, echoing up through the empty elevator shaft of the high-rise.
“They’re here,” Alexander said.
He did not look afraid anymore.
