The Fall of Prescott Global and the Reclamation of a Mother Legacy
Callum stared at his lawyer.
His mouth opened slightly, but no sound came out.
“Your withdrawal is noted, Mr. Voss,” Judge Mallory said.
“You are excused.”
Voss picked up his briefcase, walked past Callum without a word, and exited through the center aisle.
The heavy doors clicked shut behind him.
Callum was left standing alone at the long wooden table.
“The ledger also contains the original deposit certificates,” Arthur said, pointing toward the bench.
“The matching serial numbers prove the funds came from Thomas Prescott’s personal holdings, not corporate assets.”
“Callum Prescott had no legal authority to touch them.”
Judge Mallory rubbed her temples.
The radiator near the window hissed, releasing a puff of steam into the chilly air.
“The court is in possession of bank records that match these ledger entries,” the judge said.
She looked at the two federal agents standing near me.
“Agent Miller, Agent Davis,” she said.
“You are here on behalf of the Department of Justice?”
The taller agent stepped forward.
“Yes, Your Honor. We have been conducting a parallel investigation into Prescott Global’s wire transfers.”
