The Fall of Prescott Global and the Reclamation of a Mother Legacy
“The documentation presented by Mr. Vance aligns with our preliminary findings.”
I watched the color drain completely from Callum’s face.
He looked small.
The tailored Italian suit seemed too large for his shoulders now.
“Your Honor, if I may,” I said.
“This money was meant to secure my child’s future.”
“My husband did not just steal it. He used it to cover up the losses of his failing logistics division.”
“He is trying to take my child to use as leverage against my family’s estate.”
Judge Mallory looked down at me.
Her expression was unreadable, but her eyes were sharp.
“I am aware of the custody petition before me, Mrs. Prescott,” she said.
“The court does not look kindly on parties who hide assets or commit fraud to influence a custody determination.”
She turned her attention back to Callum.
“Mr. Prescott, do you have any documentation to refute these ledger entries?” she asked.
Callum did not answer.
He was staring at the empty space where Voss had been sitting.
“I asked you a question, Mr. Prescott,” the judge repeated.
“I… I need time to consult with new counsel,” Callum stammered.
