“Tomorrow at ten,” Graham said. “Don’t be late.”

“I’ll be there,” I said.

He looked at Arthur one last time.

“Make sure those files stay where they belong, Arthur,” Graham said, his voice laced with a quiet threat.

“Of course,” Arthur whispered.

Graham opened the front door, and Celeste stepped out onto the porch.

She did not look back as she walked down the gravel path to the Mercedes.

Graham paused in the doorway, looking at me with a hard expression.

“Don’t try anything,” he said.

“I just want this over with, Graham,” I said.

He stepped out and closed the heavy door behind him.

I waited until the sound of the Mercedes engine faded down the driveway.

Arthur let out a long breath and sank into his chair.

“That was too close,” he said.

“We have them,” I said, reaching into my pocket and pulling out the folded paper. “But I need to know what these coordinates mean.”

“They point to the old surveyor’s marker on the northern boundary,” Arthur said.

“The northern boundary?” I asked.
