Instead, he looked up at the bench.

“Your Honor, my client has no comment on this filing,” the lawyer said.

Margaret stepped forward, her heels clicking on the linoleum.

“Your Honor, that is the certified forensic audit from the state banking commissioner,” Margaret said.

“It confirms that Mr. Holloway attempted to wire forty million dollars out of the family trust yesterday morning.”

“The transaction was flagged and blocked by the custodian bank.”
