The presentation screen split into two columns.

On the left, the security video of Ethan smashing the servers continued to play in a silent loop.

On the right, a spreadsheet of genetic markers appeared, highlighted in bright blue and yellow.

“This is the DNA profile of the child carried by Olivia Grant,” Samuel said, pointing to the screen.

He clicked a button, and my own DNA profile appeared next to it.

“The probability of maternity is ninety-nine point nine nine percent,” Samuel said.

The courtroom remained absolutely silent.

I looked over at Olivia, who was staring at the screen with her mouth slightly open.

She shook her head slowly, a single tear cutting through her heavy makeup.

“This is a lie,” Olivia whispered, though her voice lacked any real conviction.

“Quiet, Olivia,” her own attorney hissed, grabbing her elbow to pull her back down.

Samuel clicked the remote again, and Olivia’s genetic profile appeared on the screen.

Beside the child’s markers, her compatibility column was completely blank.

“As the court can see, Olivia Grant has no biological connection to the child,” Samuel said.
