“You need to get out of there, Madeline,” Nora said. “I just spoke with Vance. She’s interested, but she’s cautious. She said she needs absolute proof of the nexus between the Swiss funds and the domestic entity before she can issue an emergency federal freeze.”

“I’m uploading the nexus right now,” I said. “I have Eleanor’s signature on the settlement document linking to the Zurich routing numbers, which match the transaction history of the Delaware shell company.”

Silence fell over the line as Nora processed the information.

“That’s it,” she said quietly. “That’s the entire chain.”

“How quickly can Vance get a warrant?” I asked.

“If she sees this tonight, she can have a federal judge sign an emergency seizure warrant by tomorrow morning,” Nora said. “But Madeline, the moment that warrant is signed, Eleanor will know. She will know it came from you.”
