He opened the blue folder and began flipping through the pages.
His eyes scanned the columns of numbers and the copied signature pages.
“These are certified bank logs,” Agent Miller observed.
“They are,” I said.
“They were pulled directly from the clearinghouse server last night.”
“Who gave you access to these servers, Mrs. Campbell?” Agent Davies asked.
“I am a founding partner of the holding company that owns the server infrastructure,” I said.
“My name is on the original operating agreement.”
“I have full administrative rights.”
Graham stared at me, his mouth slightly open.
He had forgotten that my father had insisted on that clause ten years ago.
He had forgotten that my family’s trust funded the very servers he used to hide his theft.
“This is more than enough,” Agent Miller said, closing the folder.
He looked over my shoulder at Graham.
“Mr. Campbell, we need you to come with us,” Agent Miller said.
“We have a warrant for your arrest on charges of wire fraud and embezzlement.”
Graham froze.
The limestone lobby felt very cold.
“This is a mistake,” Vance said, stepping in front of Graham.
