Matteo raised a hand, silencing his uncle without looking at him.
“Cameron has saved my son’s life once already,” Matteo said, his voice quiet and firm. “She does not strike me as a thief.”

“Anyone could have put it there,” Matteo said.
He turned to Frank.

“Matteo, this is ridiculous,” Silvio said, scoffing. “You are going to disrupt the whole household for a maid?”
“We are going to search the entire penthouse,” Matteo said. “Every room. Every locker. Every bag. Nobody leaves until my security team has checked every square inch of this place.”
