“Every active officer in the field,” I said, my chest tightening.
“Every source we have in Europe and Asia,” Vance added.
“How much time do we have to reach the warehouse?” I asked.
“Fourteen minutes,” Vance said. “The morning traffic on the interstate is already building. A tactical team won’t make it in time.”
“I’m going,” I said.
“You don’t have backup, Allison,” Vance warned. “We don’t know who is guarding that facility.”
“I have my service weapon,” I said.
I turned and walked toward my unmarked sedan parked at the edge of the driveway.
The key fob clicked, and the headlights flashed.
I climbed into the driver’s seat and put the key in the ignition.
The engine roared to life.
I mounted the phone on the dashboard bracket.
