The Secret Chemistry of a Billionaire Heir and a Corporate Betrayal
“I found it,” I said, pointing to the hard drive on my lap.
“The chemical analysis of the new baby formula batch.”
“Julian changed the formula,” I said, my voice shaking.
“He replaced the safe protein binders with a toxic substitute.”
“He wanted the product to fail after the launch to ruin you,” I added.
Andrew stared at the metal drive, his jaw tightening.
“Julian did this?” he asked softly.
“The logs on this drive show his personal access code bypassed the security filters,” I said.
“He did it from Victoria’s office computer,” I added.
“They are working together, Andrew.”
He stared straight ahead through the windshield, his face turning pale.
“Victoria wanted the board to lose faith in me so she could take over,” he muttered.
“And Julian wanted his share of the company back,” he added.
He put the car in gear and drove toward the security gate of the underground garage.
“Where are we going?” I asked, looking at the smoke rising from the ventilation shafts.
“My private residence,” he said.
“The main building security is compromised if Julian has access.”
