“Did you do something?” he demanded.
Sloane looked at me, and I nodded slowly.
“No, Nolan,” she said. “I’m looking at the terminal now.”
“The primary accounts were frozen twenty minutes ago.”
“Your mother’s signature on the secondary account authorized a manual override, but they must have flagged the IP address.”
Nolan swore loudly, the sound of a horn honking in the background of his call.
“I have the police at the hospital,” he said.
“But they won’t wait forever.”

“The notary I used is backing out.”
