“Yes,” I said, leaning toward the phone. “It has been updating every sixty seconds for the last ten minutes. He is using his personal phone hotspot.”
“Give me the address,” Arispe said.
I read the address from my screen, including the unit number.
“I have a squad car in that sector,” Arispe said. “I will meet them there. Do not go near that building, Elena.”
“I want to be there,” I said.
“No,” Arispe said. “It is a safety risk. We do not know if he is armed.”
“I will drive her,” Marisol intervened. “We will stay in the car across the street. We can provide the live tracking data in case he tries to run.”
The detective sighed over the line.
“Fine,” Arispe said. “But you stay in your vehicle with the doors locked. If I see you on the sidewalk, I will have you removed.”
