Elena looked at Harrison. “Did you assist her in falsifying the signatures on the loan agreements?”

Harrison took a deep breath.

“No,” he said. “She did that herself.”

“I found the digital templates she used to forge Claire’s signature on three separate bank applications.”

He reached into his breast pocket and pulled out a small silver flash drive.

“Everything is on here,” Harrison said, his voice cracking.

“Every email, every transaction, every forged document she forced me to sign to keep the company afloat.”

“I am submitting this to protect what is left of my own estate.”

“She used us all.”

Patricia stared at her son as if he had stabbed her.

Her face turned a deep, mottled red.

“You coward,” she whispered across the courtroom.
