He pointed to a page displaying a high-resolution scan of a transfer document.

“And we have the offshore account routing numbers,” Julian added.

Graham stared at the page, his chest rising and falling rapidly.

“This was not my doing,” Graham said, his voice shaking.

He looked over his shoulder at his mother.

Marjorie’s eyes narrowed, her lips pressing into a thin, bloodless line.

“Graham, keep your mouth shut,” Marjorie said, her voice dropping to a harsh whisper.

“She is the trustee, Evelyn,” Graham said, ignoring his mother. “She handled the early transitions.”

Marjorie glared at her son, her fingers tightening on the strap of her handbag.

“You weak, foolish boy,” Marjorie said under her breath.

“I did what you told me to do,” Graham said, his voice rising, echoing off the high arches of the ceiling.

“Detective,” Julian said, turning to the officers. “The evidence of trust embezzlement and forgery is all here.”

Detective Miller stepped toward Graham, reaching into his pocket.

“Graham Caldwell, you are under arrest,” the detective said.

Graham took a step backward, his boots sliding on the damp stone floor.
