“He has taken those sessions and twisted them into this,” Nora said, tapping the paper.
“He claims you confessed to hearing voices and wanting to hurt your baby.”
I felt sick to my stomach.
“That is a monstrous lie,” I said.
“We know,” Nora said. “But on paper, with his credentials and his signature, a family court judge will take it seriously.”
“How do we fight this by nine tomorrow morning?” Richard asked.
Nora pulled out her laptop and opened it.
“We need to discredit the source,” she said.
“If we can prove Dr. Sterling was paid to falsify this, the case crumbles.”
“And Thomas Vale?” Richard asked.
“Vale is the architect,” Nora said. “He knows exactly what he is doing.”
