I leaned forward, looking at the dense pages of financial analysis.

There were columns of numbers, wire transfer receipts, and shell company registrations.

“I found the trail,” Daniel said. “Gavin didn’t just steal from you.”

“He and your father systematically funneled millions out of the corporate treasury over the last three years.”

“They used offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands to hide the cash flow.”

“Arthur signed off on the internal audits to keep the board of directors from noticing,” Daniel explained.

“So it wasn’t just a simple marital dispute or a private dispute over assets,” I said.

“No,” Daniel said, his eyes bright with a quiet, hard intensity. “This is racketeering and systemic corporate theft.”

“If the judge sees this level of fraud, there is no way they will grant bail.”

“They will both be flagged as flight risks and held without bond.”

“Is Arthur’s name clearly on these authorization forms?” I asked, pointing to a signature.

“Yes, right next to Gavin’s forged version of yours,” Daniel said.

“The handwriting expert’s report is attached at the back of the file.”
