“I will go back to the office,” she said.

She walked to the door and looked through the peephole.
“The hallway is clear,” she said.
“I’ll go first to draw any attention if someone is watching the service stairs.”
She slipped out of the apartment before we could say anything else.

“We are going on a little trip.”
