“Harrison thinks he is going to vote me out and take full control.”
I stood behind him, looking at the columns of numbers.
“Will this be enough to stop him?” I asked.
“With Rebecca’s testimony and Benjamin’s files, yes,” Jonathan said.
“It will prove Harrison bypassed the board to funnel fifty million into his personal estate.”
He looked up at Rebecca.
“You will have to stand in front of the board and repeat everything you told me.”
Rebecca gripped her leather handbag tightly.

“But we have to get out of here first. Harrison’s men are downstairs.”
We all froze as a heavy thud echoed from the stairwell outside.
It was the sound of a heavy metal door swinging shut on the first floor.
