The Frozen Wife Reclaims Her Throne and Destroys the Caldwell Empire
It was Sabrina Monroe.
She was shivering violently, her lips a pale, bruised blue.
Her eyes were wide and frantic as she looked at me.
“Grace,” she gasped, her voice cracking as she stepped inside.
Julian immediately moved between us, his shoulder tense and his hand still in his pocket.
“Get out,” Julian said, his voice dropping to a harsh whisper. “You have five seconds before I call the police.”
“No, please,” Sabrina begged, reaching out with her gloved hands. “You don’t understand.”
She looked past Julian, her eyes locking onto mine.
“Ethan is going to destroy me, Grace,” she said. “He is going to blame me for everything.”
Mrs. Ramirez quickly shut the heavy wooden door behind Sabrina, locking out the howling wind.
Sabrina sank against the doorframe, her chest heaving as she tried to catch her breath.
“He lied to me about everything,” Sabrina said. “He told me you ran away with someone else.”
“And you believed him because it was convenient,” I said, keeping my voice cold and flat.
“I was a fool,” she whispered, shaking her head. “But today, he cleared my security access at the office.”
