“It’s working,” Marcus said, his eyes wide.

As the files began to open, the names of the directories changed from random codes to plain English.

I leaned closer to the screen, squinting at the lists of names and numbers.

“Look at this directory,” Marcus said, pointing to a folder labeled *Pension_Adjustments_Bellamy*.

Below it was another folder named *Active_Resolutions_Archive*.

“What does that mean?” Charles asked, his hand resting on my shoulder.

Marcus clicked the first file in the pension folder, and a spreadsheet filled the screen.

My eyes scanned the columns, catching names of former servers and cooks I had worked with for years.

Next to each name was a dollar amount, followed by a column titled *Transfer Destination*.

Every single transfer was routed to an account held by the Bellamy Group.

“They’ve been redirecting the entire staff’s retirement funds,” Marcus whispered, zooming in on the dates.

“And look at the secondary list,” I said, my finger touching the cold screen.

There was a list of names with dates next to them.

The first name on the list was my father’s.
