“You will do no such thing,” Victoria said, her eyes flashing. “This is a private room, and my client is under the care of Dr. Sterling, not you.”
“Dr. Sterling is a staff obstetrician,” Dr. Harrison said. “I oversee clinical operations.”
“And you also oversee the Parker Family Pavilion,” Thomas said, his voice shaking with a quiet rage. “The one Margaret paid for three years ago.”
Dr. Harrison’s face turned a dull shade of red.
“That has nothing to do with this, Thomas,” he said.
“It has everything to do with this,” Thomas said, stepping closer to him. “You are violating protocol for a donor.”

The second man in a suit took a step forward.
