He took it from my hand, plugged it into his laptop, and began typing rapidly.

A progress bar appeared on his screen as the files transferred.

“Let’s see what we have,” Jerome muttered.

He clicked open the first folder, which was filled with hundreds of text message screenshots.

He scrolled through them, his eyes scanning the text quickly.

“This is extraordinary,” Jerome said, a rare smile appearing on his face. “He explicitly details his plan to use his pre-marital home as a holding shield for the offshore funds.”

“Does this invalidate my signature on the divorce waiver?” I asked.

“Absolutely,” Jerome said. “It proves active concealment and fraud. The waiver was signed under false pretenses.”

He closed the laptop and looked at me.

“I am scheduling an emergency probate hearing,” he said.

“How quickly can we get one?” I asked.

“I will file the petition within the hour,” Jerome said. “We will summon Scott, Kayla, the estate executor, and Scott’s legal team.”

“Scott still thinks he’s safe,” I said. “He thinks his pre-marital assets protect him.”
