The Billionaire Who Stole My Life and the Secret Brother Who Kept It
“Get this impostor out of here,” Julian yelled, pointing a trembling finger at Alexander. “Security!”
Two guards stepped forward from the wings, but they hesitated when they looked at the two men.
They looked identical.
Except they did not.
Alexander stood tall, looking down at his brother with a calm, steady gaze.
“You always did have a weak spot for the details, Julian,” Alexander said into his lapel microphone.
Alexander walked to the edge of the stage, closer to the light.
“Look at him,” Alexander told the crowd.
“Look at the left side of his jaw,” Alexander continued, his voice steady and calm.
“When Julian had his surgery to mimic my face, the surgeon had to hide the incision.”
Alexander pointed to his own jawline, which was perfectly smooth.
“My scar from the boating accident in college is on the right side,” Alexander said.
“Julian’s surgeon put his scar on the left side to cover the reconstruction of his jawbone.”
The camera on the stage automatically zoomed in on Julian’s face, projecting it onto the giant screens.
