“If we give this to the local officers, it will disappear into an evidence locker and never see the light of day,” Ryker said.
He dragged the decrypted files into an encrypted email client.
“Who are you sending it to?” I asked.
“The head of the Federal Organized Crime Task Force in Washington,” Ryker said.
He typed in a long email address from memory.
