“Mr. Harrow, your attempts to intimidate my client are being recorded on our security feed,” Naomi said, gesturing to the small black dome in the corner of the ceiling. “And you have just been formally served.”

Grant snatched the papers, his eyes scanning the first page.

“What is this?” he muttered.

“It is a court order signed by Judge Miller,” Naomi said. “Your personal lines of credit, your trust distribution account, and the capital funds for the Harrow Group’s local development are all restricted as of nine o’clock this morning.”

Grant’s hand began to shake, the paper rustling in his grip.

The proud, untouchable facade he had worn his entire life was beginning to crack at the edges.

“This is illegal,” he whispered, his face turning pale. “You can’t freeze the corporate development funds.”

“They are listed as marital assets under your name, Mr. Harrow,” Naomi said. “If you attempt to withdraw, transfer, or use any of those funds for personal or business expenses, you will be in contempt of court.”

Grant stared at the document, his mouth slightly open.
