“And a secondary program has just been initiated on her home computer.”
“What kind of program?” Hayes asked.
“A remote wipe,” the officer said.
“She is erasing her entire hard drive.”
“Can you stop it?” I asked, stepping closer to the table.
“I am trying to block the signal, but she is doing it from a hardwired connection,” the officer said.
His fingers tapped furiously on the keys.
“If she wipes that drive, we lose the original templates for the forged DNA test,” I said.
“We need that physical evidence,” Hayes agreed.
“Get the transport ready,” Hayes ordered the guard at the door.
“We are going to Oakcrest Drive.”
