An Army Colonel Fights to Save His Daughter from a Dangerous Family Conspiracy
“They wanted Owen,” I said, my voice barely audible. “Patricia wanted the baby so she could control the trust fund my grandfather left.”
Agent Vance nodded, his pen clicking open.
“Ethan confirmed that in his initial statement,” he said. “He told us Patricia has a power of attorney document ready for you to sign under duress.”

“For the preliminary hearing?” I asked.
“Yes,” Vance said. “It’s scheduled for Tuesday morning.”
He looked at me with a serious expression.
